Overview of Beasts in King's Throne
There are 15 beasts available to collect in the menagerie, which is unlocked at Kingdom Level 6 in King's Throne. Details of each beast is listed below.
Beasts currently have 3 ratings, Common, Rare and Legendary. All beasts can bond with a hero, which increases the power of the hero it's bonded to.
Legendary beasts also have a special bond with a specific hero. Bonding the hero with their preferred hero will increase the beasts attributes by 30%.
Unlocking Beasts in King's Throne
All beasts need to be unlocked with a certain number of fragments, ranging from 30 to 50.
The exception is the Eagle, which you can get for free after leveling your kingdom up to level 6.
Common and rare beast fragments can be bought in the Battle Shop, which is available every day. It's recommended you buy at least a few fragments in the early game regularly, and buy out the entire stack mid or late game.
Extra beast fragments can be dismantled for shards.
Leveling and Feeding Beasts in King's Throne
Unlocked beasts start at level 1 and can be leveled up to 200 for common beasts, 250 for rare beasts and up to 300 for legendary beasts.
Leveling up beasts require feeding beasts dry supplements. Lower levels can usually be raised fairly fast, but high levels of any beast require millions of dry supplements.
Because the scale is non-linear, or the amount of pet food needed to raise a single level increases with each level, it's recommended to not maximize a single beast, but rather grow all your beasts at the same time.
You can acquire Dry Supplement Bags in the Battle Shop every day, and each bag opened gives you 10,000 dry supplements. It's recommended you buy out all pet food every day to grow your beasts, since you will need alot of it, and it's not that easy to come by.
Legendary beasts need more food to level, but they also grant bigger attribute bonuses to their bonded heroes per level.
Upgrading Beasts with Fragments in King's Throne
Beasts can be upgraded to a maximum of 6 stars, starting at zero stars. The levels for which you can upgrade the star of the beast depends on the beast.
However, you can calculate the total amount of fragments you need to fully upgrade your beast because the upgrade cost is the same as the cost to unlock beasts, which is detailed below in the full beast list.
You can only upgrade beasts to the next star level at given level cutoffs. For example, the eagle's first upgrade is available at level 50 or above.
Upgrading the beast increases the soft level cap, and also increases all attributes by 5%.
Because upgrading increases the attributes of a beast by a percentage, it's one of the best ways to increase the power of your beast during event challenges.
