Story of Gareth in King's Throne

"Although Gareth, brother of Gawain, was solely known as a kitchen hand, this was merely a disguise. Gareth trained day and night to be mightier than even the most formidable knights. One day, while preparing dinner, he was ordered by his uncle, Arthur, to help a noblewoman rescue her sister. Gareth was elated to put his tireless efforts to the test! But, the noblewoman, Lynette, was underwhelmed with Gareth for he was not a knight, nevertheless, they set out. While traveling towards her sister, Lyonesse's lands, The Green Knight appeared and assailed them, but Gareth's valiance led to his quick surrender! Another two knights would come after them, The Puce Knight and The Indigo Knight, but none could overpower him. Finally, they reached Lyonesse's castle, where The Red Knight had captured her, but even a knight rumored to have the strength of seven men could not defeat him!"
