Story of Cortes in King's Throne

"Hernán Cortés was born into nobility, but a desire for great fortune inspired him to sail for distant lands that promised incredible treasures... but also dangerous tribes! With his soldiers, they voyaged, but after many months, they had run out of provisions. So, he decided to anchor near an island that was also ruled by a mighty chief. With diplomacy, he won the Chief's approval by presenting him with a chest of jewels. In return, the chief offered provisions along with a prisoner who had become too troublesome for him. After accepting and returning to the ship, the prisoner named Maria persuaded him to siege the island by telling him the location of the chief’s treasure. After the successful plunder, Cortés learned that Maria was fluent in the local language and deduced that joining forces would establish a mighty partnership of conquerors more ruthless than these lands had ever known."
